palate of the 2015 Port has rich stone fruit flavors, and a lingering finish of
caramel with a delicate vanilla coating of French oak. This wine is the perfect
complement to lighter holiday
desserts – meringues, almond pastries, fruit tarts or hard cheeses. Best served
cellar temperature (55 degrees) – drinkable now, but will age well for 5 – 7
years. The wine will last for a few weeks after opening as long as it is stored
at room temperature. Although it is a dessert wine with a residual sugar, this
wine is very light in texture and doesn’t have the syrupy characteristics
typical of some dessert port wines.
